As Canadians across the country united to celebrate the nation’s 150th anniversary, many took this year’s special significance as an opportunity to form their own enduring unity. A mild summer that stretched long into fall provided a beautiful, natural backdrop for an incredible wedding season to the 35 wedding couples we had the privilege of sharing such a special day with.
North Bay has always been known as Ontario’s gateway to the north and this year, companies of all sizes used its central location as the perfect place to host their regional conferences and seminars. With 13,000 square feet of meeting space and 130 guest rooms, the Best Western proved again it is the ideal location in North Bay for businesses of all sectors to host an event.
Renovations to our key outlets, Farina Ristorante and FAB lounge, created a new atmosphere that reflects the traditional Italian cuisine served inside. Having launched a new restaurant menu in late November, where we introduced daily specials, we encourage both local residents as well as hotel guests to join us in Farina for a memorable dining experience. With the introduction of both a separate lounge menu and North Bay’s own New Ontario Brewing craft beers, the FAB lounge is an exciting spot to catch a game with friends or share a pizza and pint with co-workers after a long conference day.
