The 2001 Partners in Eco-Adventure Tourism (PEAT) summer brochure has been chosen best specialty tourism publication by the Economic Developers' Council of Ontario. PEAT, a partnership of the City of Greater Sudbury, Sudbury's three post-secondary institutions and 25 local ecotourism operators, was set up in 1999 to promote ecotourism in Sudbury and northeastern Ontario. The PEAT 2001 brochure was designed by Linda Frappier of Cambrian College, and distributed through trade shows, travel information centres and insertion of 20,000 copies in the Toronto Star.
