Single-detached housing starts for the City of Greater Sudbury continue on an upswing, with year-to-date totals to July 46 per cent ahead of last year's figures.
Canada Mortage and Housing Corp. reports 39 single-detached units were started in July, up from 26 units last July. Housing starts are on pace to achieve this year's forecast of 230 units for the Greater Sudbury market, says Warren Philp, CMHC analyst for Northern Ontario.
