Industry Canada is encouraging citizens across the North to bring input on issues revolving around business, infrastructure, health and education to the table during regional consultations.

FedNor recently announced the launch of the Northern Ontario Citizen Engagement Forum, an interactive dialogue to be held Nov. 14-17 in Sault Ste. Marie. Prior to the forum, regional consultations will be held throughout the North.

Discussions will centre around four themes: access to capital, access to a competitive and innovative business environment, access to infrastructure, including telecommunications and access to a higher quality of life, in health, education and lifelong learning.

Regional consultations will be held prior to Oct. 18. A summary of the results of these consultations will provide the basis for further discussions at the November forum.
