Home design software wins IT award for Sault company

IDI Technology emerged the big winner at the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre’s SSMart IT Awards, Sept. 29.

Headed by Mark Maki, the Queen Street software firm took home the IT Company of the Year award for their interactive web-based software for the home design and home project management. The company has aligned itself with key players in the North American home building industry by partnering with two California-based companies with combined annual revenues of more than $10 million.


Algoma University College computer science student Gavan Acton won the IT Student/Graduate of the Year award.
