Gin-Cor Industries has made the PROFIT list of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies for the third consecutive year.
This year, the Mattawa-based company ranked number 199 on the list. Last year it came in at number 370. In 2015, its first year on the list, Gin-Cor was listed at number 270.
According to figures supplied to PROFIT, Gin-Cor experienced 323 per cent growth over the last five years, with 2016 revenue coming in between $20 million and $50 million. The company employs 180 across its divisions.
Called “entrepreneurial superstars” by co-presenters PROFIT and Canadian Business magazine, the companies on the list “vary dramatically by region, industry and size, but they have one thing in common: They’re in serious growth mode at a time when most businesses decidedly are not.”
Companies were ranked based on five-year revenue growth, between 2011 and 2016. To be eligible, companies must have generated $2 million in revenue in the most recent fiscal year.
Gin-Cor builds customized work trucks and trailers, including dump bodies, snow and ice equipment, and material-handling equipment.
Its other affiliate companies include Durabody Industries, J.C. Trailers and Del Equipment.
The company is headquartered in Mattawa and has service locations in Carleton Place, Kingston, Dryden, Gloucester, Bond Head and Keswick.
