Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS) will host a one-day conference in Sudbury this spring.

Themed “A Shared Vision,” the event will take place on June 20 at the Holiday Inn on Regent Street, featuring keynote speakers, breakout sessions, a tradeshow, and opportunities for networking.

“In the face of increasing demands and unprecedented challenges, Ontario businesses have adapted and persevered,” WSPS said in the event synopsis. “Now, health and safety leaders are ready to focus forward with A Shared Vision for a sustainable future, driven by a more resilient workforce and a collaborative, proactive approach.”

The morning keynote address will feature Kirby James, an educator and business coach, who will speak about communication in the workplace. At lunch, Sylvia Marusyk, a health and wellness expert, will deliver a keynote address about how to help employees who are coping with stress.

Breakout sessions throughout the day will focus on the impact of shift work, hybrid work, battery-operated mobile equipment, ergonomics, and more.
