Glencore announced completion of the transaction May 2, and the company’s official name will now change to Glencore Xstrata plc. Shareholders will receive 3.05 new Glencore shares for each share held, the company said.

The new company is estimated to be worth around $76 billion.

Shares of the new company are expected to start trading on the London Stock Exchange Friday and on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on May 6.
