Brigus Gold Corp. has resumed milling operations May 31. They were suspended May 12 due to higher than recommended water levels in the holding and water management facilities at the Black Fox mill.
Underground and open pit mining operations at the Black Fox mine were not affected by the temporary mill suspension and the company continued to stock pile ore which is now being processed at the Black Fox mill.
During this period, the company also completed various other maintenance activities related to milling operations.
Brigus operates the wholly-owned Black Fox Mine and Mill in an area between Timmins and Matheson.
