Norampac expects its Red Rock paper mill in northwestern Ontario to be back in operation just days after a fire damaged one of the plant's five boilers.
The cause of the Aug. 6 fire was unknown but it is suspected to have originated above the boiler. There were no injuries among the mill's 420 employees, who produce 1,100 tonnes of paper daily for bags and lining for cardboard boxes. No estimate has been placed on damages. The Ontario Fire Marshal's office has decided not to investigate.
