A $5-million, 1,400-seat, seven-screen cinema complex is in development stages in North Bay and may be completed before Nov. 15.
A spokesman for Galaxy Entertainment, says Galaxy North Bay will come complete with an arcade, a food court and seven theatres ranging from 200 to 344 seats, all equipped with digital surround sound.
Galaxy owns Chapters and Indigo bookstore chains and develops and operates theatres in small- and medium-sized cities in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec.
