Wallbridge makes organizational changes to board

Wallbridge Mining Company Ltd. in Sudbury has made organizational changes to its board of directors.

Warren Holmes stepped down as non-executive chair of the company, while Alar Soevar was named executive chair. Soevar resigned as CEO and president Marz Kord was appointed president and CEO.

Joshua Bailey was named vice-president of exploration, while Linda Zubal was named director of corporate communications.

Those appointed as directors included Holmes, Soevar and Kord, along with Rene Galipeau, Jon McBride, Darryl Sittler, Parviz Farsangi and Roland Horst.

“The board has spent a good deal of time planning these organizational changes and is very pleased with them, and confident that they will further strengthen the company,” Kord said in a news release.

“All of this is one more exciting step in the evolution of Wallbridge,” he added. “We'll look forward to another great year.”
