Brett Resources said metallurgical tests its Hammond Reef property in northwestern Ontario indicate gold recovery will be 93 per cent.
The Vancouver-based junior miner has an inferred resource of 155 million tonnes at 1.04 grams per tonne gold totally 5.19 million ounces of gold at a 0.60 grams per tonne cut-off.
Company president Patrick Soares said the encouraging results of the test work should not only improve recoveries, but reduce mill operating costs.
