The Wealthy Barber author to speak in Sault

David Chilton, the author of the bestselling book The Wealthy Barber, will speak in Sault Ste. Marie on April 14.

A joint initiative of Northern Credit Union and the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce, the breakfast session will take place at the Delta Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront Hotel and Conference Centre, starting at 8:30 a.m.

The first 100 guests to arrive will receive a free copy of Chilton's follow-up book The Wealthy Barber Returns, and a book signing will follow the presentation.

First released in 1989, The Wealthy Barber has sold two million copies in North America. Focusing on personal finance, the book centres around three people in their 20s who go visit Roy the barber for financial advice. The Wealthy Barber Returns was published as a follow-up in 2011.

Chilton was recently announced as the newest member of the panel on CBC's popular TV show Dragons' Den, which vets business proposals from entrepreneurs seeking financial support for their ideas.
