TESC appoints new project director

Sudbury -based construction company TESC has appointed Stephen Scott as director of projects, effective June 4.

Sudbury-based construction company TESC has appointed Stephen Scott as director of projects, effective June 4.

In his new role, Scott’s responsibilities will include leading the efforts of the company’s newly formed project management office (PMO), which will oversee and manage all aspects of the construction project cycle, from concept to completion. Reporting directly to president Dario Zulich, Scott will ensure projects are completed on schedule, on budget and within specifications.

“We are very enthusiastic about having Stephen join our team at TESC,” Zulich said in a news release. “He brings with him a great amount of knowledge and experience. This new partnership and creation of the PMO position will flourish as will the success of the company. We will be able to perform larger and more complex projects for our clients on time and on budget.”

Scott brings with him experience in project management, capital project co-ordination and supervision. While holding the position of senior project manager, he successfully led a group of professional engineers and project control groups in a heavy industrial environment. Scott has also held positions across the globe, from Sudbury to Australia, Chile and Jordan.
