With an eye on accommodating new business, the City of Temiskaming Shores is expanding infrastructure in commercial subdivision off Highway 11 with a helping hand from the province.
The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation is providing nearly $1 million to the project, which will create 60 construction-related jobs in order to upgrade the water, sewer and road infrastructure.
Work is set to begin in the spring of 2010, and is set to be complete in September 2010.
