Temex Resources Corp. has entered into discussions with BacTech Mining Corporation to potentially re-process mine tailings from the Gowganda Silver Project, which contains the Miller Lake O'Brien Mine.

The 1.8 million tonnes of tailings are 10-times the size of the Castle Mine tailings, which sit three kilometres from Gowganda. The Castle Mine tailings are the focus of BacTech's proposed bioleach demonstration plant.

The Temex tailings grade an average of 1.4 ounces per ton of silver, and were created during periods of mining between 1910 and 1944, and again between 1945 and 1972. No evaluation has been performed on the cobalt and nickel values of the tailings.
