Timmins gold digger Temex Resources named Greg Gibson and Ron Goldsack to its board of directors.

Gibson is a 30-year mining veteran with previous stops as a mine manager in Timmins, British Columbia and Australia. He's worked for J.S. Redpath, Dynatec Mining Yilgarn Star Gold Mine and is currently the president, CEO and a director of Trelawney Mining and Exploration.

Goldsack has a long history in corporate finance as a vice-president with Wood Gundy in Toronto and New York, and later became a co-founder of Goldon Capital for 28 years.

“Greg brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of junior mining company operations and his contributions will be invaluable as we take our company to the next level,” said Temex president Ian Campbell in a June 12 statement. “Ron's vast experience in corporate finance greatly strengthens our team and he will play an important role in accelerating our growth.”

Temex has a stable of precious metals properties in northeastern Ontario and is exploring its Whitney property in Timmins, a partnership with Goldcorp, and its Juby Gold project.
