Nickel City Steel Limited, a Sudbury-based manufacturer of steel and plate work components, is growing and moving from the city's south end to a larger location in the Walden Industrial Park.
Through the Enterprises North Job Creation Program, the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation is providing a $500,000 loan toward the $3-million project.
The move will allow for the purchase of new equipment and the expansion of its product line, as well as 10 additional jobs to its 30 person workforce.
Having been in business for 40 years, Nickel City Steel serves a number of sectors including mining, forestry, energy and construction.
