Public commenting for the Ecological Risk Assessment (ERA) aspect of the Sudbury Soils Study will officially close on midnight, Sept. 4, 2009, five months after findings were first released.
This deadline represents the end date for submitting formal comments to be included and published in the formal report as an appendix, complete with response from the study partners. Informal responses will continue to be provided to questions about the ERA results beyond that deadline.
Comments must include a name, address, phone number and email address, and must relate directly to the contents of the ERA report.

Technical committee study partners for the study include Vale Inco and Xstrata Nickel, as well as the Sudbury & District Health Unit, the City of Greater Sudbury, the Ontario Ministry of Environment, as well as Health Canada First Nations & Unuit Health.
