Sudbury's NCS Technology is receiving $50,000 in support from the provincial government to introduce a new data management system for mining companies.

Delivered through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation's Emerging Technology Program, the money will help NCS' development of a work-flow management system to improve monitoring and reporting of mine production.

It will supplement NCS' existing web-based interface for gathering and analyzing mining data.
