The City of Greater Sudbury is featured on the cover of the summer edition of My Ontario, the official visitor magazine of Tourism Ontario.
The cover features an image of a family at the Ramsey Lake boardwalk, with Science North in the background, and will include a caption describing the image. According to a news release, it's the first time the publication has included a caption, and city officials believe it will help to promote Sudbury and Science North.
“We were very excited to hear that Science North and Sudbury were chosen as the cover for Ontario Tourism's summer publication,” said Ian Wood, Sudbury's director of economic development, in a news release. “We're gearing up for the peak visitor season to start and this extra attention will be a great boost in helping us to promote our beautiful city.”
The tourism magazine has a print run of 455,000 copies, and a tablet version of the magazine will be available for download at online application stores such as iTunes by mid-May.
