Dennis Centis, co-owner of Centis Tile and Terazzo, is preparing to spend two days sailing the blue waters of Lake Huron as a participant in the sixth annual MACMAN Challenge, July 23-25.

Centis will join his wife and four other sailors as a competitor in the event, also known as the Mackinac to Manitoulin International Yacht Race.

The first leg of the journey carries competitors from Michigan's Mackinac Island eastwards across the northern portion of Lake Huron to reach Gore Bay through the North Channel. The next morning, crews head for the finish line at Little Current, nearly 30 nautical miles away.
