The Silver Shield Resources Corp. has signed an option agreement for a property located in the West Timmins Area.
The property consists of two patented mining claims that have been privately held for many years and no previous exploration work is known to have been performed. The area is highly overburdened and very few outcrops exist in the area.
These claims cover an area of 20 ha, located about three kilometres north of the highly prospective Porcupine-Destor Fault Zone, which is an important feature to most of the largest past producers in The Timmins Camp, and 1.5 kilometres east of the north-south trending Mattagami River Fault.
