Sault company poised for growth in 2012

MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. of Sault Ste. Marie is slated for growth in 2012 following response to the debut of its asphalt release agent last year.

MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. of Sault Ste. Marie is slated for growth in 2012 following response to the debut of its asphalt release agent last year.

The company's product is applied to paving equipment and trucks to avoid the buildup of asphalt on surfaces and facilitate cleanup. Development and testing of the product was completed last year and brought to commercial market.

In a news release, CEO Norman R. Jaehrling said the company anticipates increased demand of the product for its environmentally friendly properties, since some regions are seeking alternatives to petroleum-based products.

“Based on the positive feedback from our customers during the past year, we believe that our asphalt release agent line has achieved industry acceptance and is poised for positive growth in 2012,” Jaehrling said in the release. “With the construction season ramping up, we have begun receiving orders from previous and new clients.”

“The company expects to double its sales of the product line over 2011, and we are now actively selling the product throughout Ontario and Eastern Canada, with plans to expand distribution to Western Canada and the United States,” Jaehrling added.

The company is currently considering getting international patent protection under the Patent Cooperation Treaty, which would give the company temporary patent protection in 144 countries.
