The Sudbury Area Mining Service and Supply Association's (SAMSSA) Hall of Fame is set to grow by two following the announcement of the new inductees for 2009, Peter Matusch and Ron Miller.
Matusch, president of the Lively-based CCM Group of Companies, has transformed the former Copper Cliff Mechanical into an industrial contracting and equipment supply firm with a workforce peaking at 400 and projects up to $15 million.
Miller began Miller Technology Inc. in 1979, and serves as a designer and manufacturer of custom utility vehicles for the underground mining industry. The firm employs 30 across two operations in North Bay and a distribution facility in Sudbury. These two men will be officially inducted at SAMSSA's annual general meeting to be held Dec. 9 at Sudbury's Howard Johnson Hotel.
