Timmins' second annual Young Professionals Awards gala is set for the Porcupine Dante Club, Feb. 15.
Tickets are $30 plus HST or $240 plus HST for a table of eight.
Nominations are still being accepted for awards in the categories of male, female, francophone and Aboriginal professionals of the year; the Rising Star of the Year and Best Place to Work.
The event is organized by the Timmins Chamber of Commerce.
“We encourage people to not only attend this important event, but also to nominate a local young professional they feel may be worthy of recognition,” said Matt Weaver, chairman of the event's organizing committee. “There are many great unsung achievers in Timmins and the Young Professionals Award are an ideal way to shine a light on their talent and hard work.”
The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. January 13 which can be emailed at events@timminschamber.on.ca.
