Drilling at Queenston Mining Inc.'s fully-owned Upper Beaver property in the Kirkland Lake camp has turned up the deposit's thickest interval to date.

Drilled off as part of a 20,000-metre program, the intersection returned 9.4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 37.3 metres. This result also includes an interval grading 16 g/t gold over 13.8 metres, and another grading 23.5 g/t gold over 3.1 metres.

Two drills are currently turning on the property, with a third to be added in the coming months. One will target the completion of the in-fill program above a depth of 800 metres, while the other two will work to expand the deposit below the 800-metre level.

Queenston is spending $10 million on exploration and development through 2009.
