Old faces in new places at Sioux Lookout

The municipal restructuring in Sioux Lookout is continuing. Ben Hancharak has had the 'assistant' removed from his title and becomes the airport manager. He served as acting manager following the resignation of Todd Tripp.

The municipal restructuring in Sioux Lookout is continuing.

Ben Hancharak has had the 'assistant' removed from his title and becomes the airport manager. He served as acting manager following the resignation of Todd Tripp.

Brian MacKinnon's old job as community development and facilities coordinator was eliminated and he becomes the community development and communications manager. He reports to economic development officer Florence Bailey.

The leasing of commercial space at the Centennial Centre and the Heritage Train Station goes under community development umbrella.

“These changes streamline our organization and ensure that we are maximizing our staff's expertise,” said interim CAO Arie Hoogenboom in a March 22 statement.
