New president for MetalCORP

Chris Dougherty has been named the new president of MetalCORP. Dougherty has 22 years of experience as a consulting engineer, having designed and managed the development of underground and open-pit mines around the world.

Dougherty has 22 years of experience as a consulting engineer, having designed and managed the development of underground and open-pit mines around the world.

CEO Donald Sheldon said the company is pleased to have Dougherty and his extensive experience in exploration and mine development as the Thunder Bay miner advances its exploration projects in northwestern Ontario.

He replaces Naomi Nemeth, who is moving on to Continental Gold.

The company has gold, zinc and molybdenum projects in northwestern Ontario at Hemlo, Pickle Lake, Red Lake and Fort Frances.
