Existing board member Manfred Herold, a partner of Brown's Concrete, is filling the position of chairman.

The new appointments to the board include Leah Miller, general manager of Merit Travel Group's Sudbury office. With nearly two decades of experience in the travel industry, Miller is expected to help develop a stronger relationship between the airport and the city's travel agents.

Also appointed to the board is Richard Brummer, a consulting engineer and president of Itasca Consulting Canada Inc. Based out of Sudbury, Brummer also serves on the board of Itasca International, based out of Minneapolis and with 13 offices in 10 countries.
