Elderly residents looking to stay in the Sudbury area found another reason to do so, June 30, when the municipal, provincial and federal governments jointly announced the official launch of a new $3.37-million affordable housing project.
Geared towards seniors, the 20-unit Capreol project is seeing $827,280 from the Canada-Ontario Affordable Housing Program, a total which is complemented by $547,720 in municipal financial incentives. The Capreol Non-Profit Housing Corporation currently has 20 senior housing units.
