New $3-million seniors' housing project kicks off in Sudbury

Elderly residents looking to stay in the Sudbury area found another reason to do so, June 30, when the municipal, provincial and federal governments jointly announced the official launch of a new $3.37-million affordable housing project.


Elderly residents looking to stay in the Sudbury area found another reason to do so, June 30, when the municipal, provincial and federal governments jointly announced the official launch of a new $3.37-million affordable housing project.

Geared towards seniors, the 20-unit Capreol project is seeing $827,280 from the Canada-Ontario Affordable Housing Program, a total which is complemented by $547,720 in municipal financial incentives. The Capreol Non-Profit Housing Corporation currently has 20 senior housing units.
