MPH Ventures Corp. provides an exploration update

MPH Ventures Corp.

MPH Ventures Corp. has announced ongoing exploration at their 100 per cent owned Raney Gold, Geneva Lake and Big Mac Projects situated in Northeastern Ontario

Raney Gold Project has focused on tracing a gold bearing structure intersected in seven drill holes along a 100 metre long trend. Assay results are pending for three recently completed holes.

The Big Mac Project, located 60 kilometres northeast of Sudbury hosts a historical showing reported to contain coarse leaf gold. A sampling program in 1998 reported assay results up to 23 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold from a weakly mineralized quartz vein, and four samples of the host volcanics which assayed between 4.8 grams per tonne and 16.7 grams per tonne. . An initial sampling program of the vein and surrounding volcanics has been completed.  Assay results are pending.

The Geneva Lake Project, located 40 kilometres north of Sudbury, is situated in an area which has seen little gold exploration.  Massive sulphides are reported to contain up to 6.8 grames per tonne (g/t) of gold. The gold content of the clasts combined with the host rocks suggests potential for a larger scale exploration target. The company has located a number of sulphide clasts and collected samples in order to confirm the gold content.
