The management shakeup at Thunder Bay junior miner, MetalCORP, continues with Charles Greig's appointment as vice president of exploration, effective Nov. 3.
With more than 25 years of exploration experience, Greig had been under contract since May evaluating the company's exploration data and prioritizing its program for this summer and fall campaign.
Greig has expertise in VMS (volcanogenic massive sulphide) and magmatic nickel-copper-platinum group elements properties.
Naomi Nemeth, who was installed as MetalCORP's president and CEO on Oct. 19, said Greig's skills and expertise have been “invaluable” in helping to advance their projects and expand their portfolio of properties.
The company also announced Oct. 30 that vice presidents Ken Booth and David Mallalieu are “transitioning out of their roles” but will remain on as consultants.
“David and Ken have helped re-organize the management and geological team at MetalCORP to position the company for its next stage of growth.”
The company has a number of gold and base metal projects near the Hemlo gold camp and in northwestern Ontario.
