Tourism Sault Ste. Marie is seeking nominations for its 2009 awards.
The tourist arm of the city's economic development corporation is looking for help to recognize the important contributions tourism players make in the categories of: Tourism Award of Excellence, Business of the Year Award, Customer Service Award, Tourism Ambassador Award and Student Hospitality Management Award which features a $500 scholarship.
“To build a visitor-friendly reputation takes an industry-wide effort, and Tourism Sault Ste. Marie Awards recognizes the many people who make this possible,” said Tara Lucarelli, Tourism Sault Ste. Marie's tourism partnership coordinator.
The deadline for nominations is Oct. 1. Awards night is Oct. 27 at the Great Northern Hotel and Conference Centre.
