The faculty of management at Laurentian University has received the Institutional Best Overall Performance Award for research at the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada's (ASAC) annual conference held in Niagara Falls from June 6-9.
"This is a well-earned recognition of the faculty of management's research excellence,” said Peter Luk, dean of the faculty.
This award recognizes research productivity per capita. It is based on a calculation comparing the number of papers accepted for presentation and/or publication at the ASAC conference to the number of full-time faculty members at each institution. It also takes into account the number of papers that receive awards during the conference.
Professors from the faculty of management presented 17 papers at the three-day conference and won two awards for best paper.
