GoldTrain Resources Inc., a Toronto-based gold and base metal exploration firm, has expanded its holdings in the Sudbury mining camp, located northeast of the city.

The company has added four claim blocks to its Clement property, which now consists of more than 3,600 hectares.

This property is surrounded on three sides by Sudbury-based Ginguro Explorations Inc., which has reportedly discovered a gold-bearing system said to be geologically similar to the South Africa's famed Witwatersrand Basin. This basin is the source of more than one-third of all gold ever mined.

GoldTrain has also added five claim blocks to the southern boundary of its nearby Janes property, which now consists of 3,200 hectares.
