Dryden's largely undeveloped Wabigoon Lake waterfront is going under the public microscope.
The city's development corporation is staging an open house Oct. 5 to give residents a chance to have their say on the conceptual elements of waterfront development plans prepared by the consulting firm of Hilderman Thomas Frank Cram Landscape Architects and Planning.
The waterfront has the potential to be the centrepiece of Dryden's tourism development strategy.
It will be a mix of public and private investment with trails, an interpretative educational centre, a restaurant, expanded marina, residential development and RV park.
