The Nickel Basin Federal Development Corporation (NBFDC) is seeking nominations for directors.
The Sudbury-based, incorporated, non-profit organization provides community loan funds in support of small and medium-sized businesses. The role of director is a volunteer position.
Directors serve an initial three-year term and are committed to attend monthly board and investment committee meetings. Eligible applicants should have business experience, skills and knowledge and an interest in economic development and investments.

Nickel Basin is funded through Industry Canada and FedNor to provide funding and advice, to promote economic growth and diversification that creates and maintains jobs in and around the City of Greater Sudbury. Nickel Basin has authorized loans totalling more than $18,000,000 and maintained and created 2,925 jobs since its inception.
