Crowflight names new boss

Crowflight Minerals has appointed Mark Trevisiol, a former Xstrata Sudbury executive, as its new president and CEO. He immediately replaces Mike Kelly who has resigned.

 
Crowflight Minerals has appointed Mark Trevisiol, a former Xstrata Sudbury executive, as its new president and CEO.

He immediately replaces Mike Kelly who has resigned.

Trevisiol has 21 years in management in the base metals industry, including the nickel sector. Prior to joining Crowflight, he was Chief Operating Officer of Liberty Mines where he was responsible for mining and milling in Timmins. He was formerly general manager of Xstrata's Sudbury smelter business unit.

A mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Waterloo, he is also the president and CEO of Auger Resources, a private exploration company.
