The official inauguration of Collège Boréal's new $15-million Timmins campus will take place alongside a celebration of the school's 15-year anniversary on Oct. 13, 2009.
Beginning at 3:30 p.m., the proceedings will host a number of academic representatives and politicians and will involve visit of the new site.
It will also feature an announcement regarding the results of the fundraising campaign for the new campus, as well as a presentation of its new strategic plan.
The community and Boréal's various partners will also be acknowledged for their support.
The site, which also incorporates space for l'Université de Hearst, quadruples student capacity to nearly 450.
