Bot wins Highway 69 four-laning contract

No dollar figures were provided in the June 29 news release because Bot and the Ministry of Transportation have yet to sign a contract. Final arrangements are being worked out over the next few weeks.

Construction of the 11-km stretch, about 3.1 km north of the intersetion of Highway 64, starts in late July or early August.

Completion is set for August 2015.

“Once the contract is awarded, construction of this stretch of highway is expected to create approximately 550 jobs,” said Sudbury MPP Rick Bartolucci.
