Sudbury mining service company Bestech has been named a best employer by the School of Business at Queen's University.

Bestech was ranked number 41 on the 2012 list of the 50 Best Small and Medium Employers in Canada, which appears in the March issue of Profit magazine. The study used feedback from employees about their workplace and work experience to gauge their level of engagement.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have made this year’s list of 50 Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada,” co-CEO Marc Boudreau said in a news release. “We are committed to making Bestech a great place to work for our valued employees and the survey results definitely indicate that we are succeeding. Employee engagement and retention are priorities at Bestech because we know that our continued success and client satisfaction stem from the expertise and professionalism of our employees.”

To be eligible to participate in the study, companies had to have been in business for at least three years and have 50 to 399 permanent, Canadian-based employees.
