Two round trip flights will be offered each weekday in addition to a third frequency via Bearskin’s Sudbury hub. Sunday service is also available. Nonstop flights are just 55minutes verses three hours or more when using connecting service via Toronto’s Pearson terminal.

Bearskin Airlines utilizes the 19-passenger Fairchild Metroliner, which was designed specifically to serve the regional airline market.

To celebrate the launch of this enhanced service, introductory fares are available now starting at $99 one way plus taxes and surcharges. Bearskin Airlines has served North Bay since the spring of 1993 following Canadian Partner’s decision to vacate the market.

Bearskin Airlines last offered nonstop service between North Bay and Ottawa in 2004 when all North Bay service was directed over Sudbury. Service between North Bay, Timmins, Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay will continue to be offered three times each business day via Sudbury.
