Apollo Gold Corporation (TSX: APG) continues to encounter mineralization on its Grey Fox property, which sits 3.5 kilometres south of its Timmins-area, producing Black Fox open pit mine.
Apollo has completed 34 holes on the property since August 10, 2009, with assay results continuing to turn up shallow mineralized zones, including one-meter sample grades of 45.2 and 61.4 grams per tonne.
These results follow the drill program done on the property in 2008, which encountered mineralization similar to those seen in the host rocks of the Black Fox deposits.
