Northern Ontario Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) have partnered with SuccessionMatching.com to assist with your business succession plans!
Through this partnership, eligible businesses will receive a variety of supports and resources that can better prepare them for the transition process.
Whether your business is already listed for sale, or you are thinking about selling, you could be eligible to receive a coupon for a membership to SuccessionMatching.com.
This coupon (a $2,000 value) is provided for FREE to the business through the Northern Ontario CFDCs, with project funding proudly supported by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario (FedNor).
According to the Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses (CFIB), 76% of businesses expect to exit their business within the next 10 years. Many of these businesses do not know where or how to start the process – the CFDCs can help.
As part of this project, we will be hosting a number of informative Business Engagement Events across Northern Ontario. These events will be free to attend, but registration will be required. The events will contain a high-level presentation on Business Succession, touching upon the typical transition process and timeline, types of sales and challenges to successful completion. Business attending these events may qualify for the SuccessionMatching.com coupon.
