The board of directors is asking for $117,000, up from $48,000 last year. They forecast a better year in 2002, projecting ticket sales will improve from 12,275 sold last year to 16,000 and expect to garner a surplus of $18,350. Plans are afoot to explore partnerships and tour packages with attractions in neighbouring communities to keep interest up.
