Mitsubishi Motors Corp. has named Timmins native Pierre Gagnon to head up the company's North American division in preparation for a sales campaign into Canada this year.
As president and chief executive officer of the new unit, Gagnon will lead the parent company's operations in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and Puerto Rico.
Gagnon, with 18 years experience in the automotive industry, was previously president and chief operating officer of Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America Inc.
He is the brother of award-winning local photographer Claude Gagnon.
