NorTel Mobility has launched new digital cellphone service to Timmins as part of a $6-million investment to introduce a network in northeastern Ontario. With leading-edge digital technology, the service provides confidential call message encoding and a full range of other sophisticated applications. The company invested $650,000 for the service in Timmins and plans to complete nine other sites in the region in the next two years.
