Northern College's Aboriginal council on education has launched a logo competition, which will have area designers vying for a first-place prize of a $500-bursary to Northern College. Second place will garner a $100 cash prize and a $100 bursary.
The council is seeking a logo that will reflect its mandate to act as a voice on behalf of the Aboriginal community and assume a leadership role in Northern College to ensure that the educational needs of the Aboriginal community are identified and addressed.
The competition is open to all Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal designers and artists in northeastern Ontario. For more information visit www.northernc.on.ca.
